Jones Quality Remodeling is a kitchen remodeling contractor and custom home builder serving Boise and the surrounding Treasure Valley. From homes in the North End and the Boise Bench to newer builds in Southeast Boise, we have extensive experience updating kitchens of every era and layout. Whether you need new cabinets, updated countertops, or a full-service kitchen remodel, our team handles the entire project: combining durable materials, practical design, and finish work built to last.
As your general contractor, we focus on clear communication and dependable scheduling for the full length of your project. Every kitchen remodel is completed with quality materials and careful workmanship, and your home is treated with respect from demolition through final walkthrough. Because Boise-area homes range from mid-century layouts to modern open-concept floor plans, we plan each remodel around how your household actually uses the space, not a one-size template.
The kitchen is the hub of most Treasure Valley homes, so it has to work for everyone who lives there. From custom cabinets and quartz or granite countertops to updated lighting, flooring, and layout changes, our team designs kitchens that match your style while functioning well day to day. With careful planning, we give you an accurate estimate up front, then manage the remodel start to finish, including the permitting realities of building in Ada County, so the process stays predictable.
Plenty of kitchens have cabinets that are structurally sound and simply dated, badly laid out, or short on storage. Steve has spent four decades working on cabinetry, and that experience shows up first as judgement about what is worth keeping.
Existing boxes can often be reworked instead of torn out: refinished or repainted, refaced with new doors and drawer fronts, modified to take a new appliance or a deeper countertop, extended to the ceiling, or fitted with roll-outs, dividers and soft-close hardware so they work like new cabinets. Reworking what is already there is usually faster than a full replacement and keeps more of the budget for the parts of the kitchen you actually notice.
When the boxes are past saving — water damage, swollen particleboard, a layout that cannot be salvaged — Steve will say so. Paying to save the wrong cabinets is worse than replacing them, and you will get a straight answer either way before any work is quoted.
A typical project covers design and layout, cabinetry, countertops, flooring, lighting, and any plumbing or electrical updates your new kitchen needs, with one team handling it from start to finish.
Yes, and we also modify the cabinets you already have. Steve looks at the existing boxes first: sound cabinetry can often be refaced, refinished, reconfigured or fitted with better storage instead of replaced. Where new cabinets are the right call, they are built to fit your space, storage needs and style.
Often, yes, and it is the first thing Steve checks. If the boxes are solid, they can be refaced with new doors and drawer fronts, refinished or repainted, altered to suit a new layout or appliance, or upgraded inside with roll-outs, dividers and soft-close hardware. If they are not worth saving, we will tell you that before you spend anything on them.
We manage the permitting for your project and coordinate the inspections, so the work is signed off and built to code. We confirm exactly what your remodel needs before we start.
Your kitchen will be out of use for part of the project, but we give you a clear schedule up front and work to keep the timeline tight and the job site clean.
